The ski and mountain clothing store that Carlos Barrabes founded in 1993 in a small village in the Huesca province of Spain has become a world-class leader in its industry, thanks to the Internet. To achieve this, it has depended on Microsoft products and technology from the very beginning. First came the Windows 95 operating system, then Windows 2000 and Windows XP, and now Windows Vista. As a result of participation in the Windows Vista Technology Adoption Program, the company's central servers have been running on the new operating system since mid 2006.
