The LANDP TCP/IP Wide Area Communication (TCP/IP) server allows customers to switch their LANDP based applications from SNA to TCP/IP without having to change the workstation or host applications involved. It can also be used by new applications for LANDP integrated TCP/IP communications. It can be used in place of the LANDP SNA server and/or the LANDP PPC server, and effectively emulates these servers by registering the same LANDP service names and supporting the same server functions.
