SAS Enterprise Miner customers demand a reliable platform that can scale to meet their business requirements. This paper describes a hardware environment that is sized to support 16 concurrent SAS Enterprise Miner users on HP Integrity servers running HP-UX. This configuration was developed around SAS Analytics Platform 1.2 and SAS Enterprise Miner 5.2 running on HP-UX 11i v2 on HP Integrity servers. The paper is based on HP's results using SAS Enterprise Miner test suite as well as real-life customer configurations and is for sixteen concurrent SAS Enterprise Miner users.
