The ISA provides such services as granting permits to corporations to publish prospectuses, regulating and supervising the mutual fund industry activities, monitoring ongoing reports, monitoring offer-to-purchase statements, monitoring the correct and fair management of the stock exchange, licensing portfolio managers and investment advisors, supervising the performance of their obligations, and handling licensing violations. Lately, changes in Israeli securities law requires public companies to make client reports available via the Internet, secured by sophisticated technology based on the digital signature system.
