This white paper presents the main issues in the world CDMA market. Lately, there have been many rumors and doubts over the future of CDMA, and these are expected to have an impact on the main CDMA handset manufacturers, especially in Korea and suggest that in the long term, also the CDMA operators have to plan new strategies faster as the markets move towards HSDPA. CDMA technology has been used for a long time in Korea and the future direction of this market will have an effect on such handset manufacturers as Samsung, LG and Pantech&Curitel.
