Wisconsin-based Airadigm Communications is the provider of Einstein PCS and Airadigm Wireless Business Solutions to thousands of regional customers. Few years ago, Airadigm was a new wireless provider trying to launch coverage across Wisconsin, and they needed to quickly establish a robust offering of connectivity and signaling services. The company needed to identify a partner that already had a reliable and cost-effective infrastructure in place. Following conversations with multiple providers, Airadigm received proposals and made a final decision to select VeriSign solution. VeriSign provided a solution that leverages VeriSign Connectivity and Interoperability Services and VeriSign Number Portability Services to help speed the launch of Airadigm's robust offering of telecommunications services.

Ethernet is, today, the de facto standard in the Local Area Networks general domain. Despite having been designed for the office environment, it has been appropriately modified or adapted in...
A Reconfigurable Ethernet/SONET Circuit-Based Metro Network Architecture
This paper proposes a service concept in which high-speed Ethernet interfaces from end hosts are dynamically cross-connected to equivalent-rate Ethernet-over-SONET (EoS) optical circuits for transport across metro-area networks and/or wide-area...
Utilization of Modern Switching Technology in EtherNet/IP Networks
EtherNet/IP networks are widely used in industrial environments and time-critical applications. This paper characterizes traffic generated in a typical EtherNet/IP network and compare it with office network traffic. The paper...
Instant Traffic Matrix on Ethernet Switches
This paper proposes a new method of estimating real-time traffic matrices for Ethernet switches. A traffic matrix represents the traffic volumes between the origin and the destination in a network....
