De flesta specialisterna inom säkerhet på Internet och andra nätverk är väl medvetna om SSL-certifikat (Secure Sockets Layer) och den viktiga roll de spelar för den totala säkerheten på din webbplats. Ändå är det många av specialisterna som har liten eller felaktig förståelse för ett extremt viktigt protokoll inom SSL, ett som har möjligheten att radikalt förändra skyddsnivån som erbjuds varje besökare på webbplatsen. Det protokollet är Server Gated Cryptography, eller även kallat SGC. Om du använder ett SGC-aktiverat SSL-certifikat ökas krypteringsnivån för många besökare och ser faktiskt till att flest möjliga besökare ansluter med 128- bitars kryptering, eller kraftfullare.
