To maximize operational efficiency, it began working with business intelligence technologies in 1999 that published weekly reports on key business outcomes. In 2004, the company expanded its business intelligence functions using Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and is now migrating analysis and reporting applications to Microsoft SQL Server 2005. This offers several new tools for integration, online analytical processing, data analysis, and reporting. ECS managers now have greater visibility of business performance by product offering.
