With more than 500 stores, New Look Group plc is the United Kingdom's leading value fashion retailer. The retailer's old systems were unwieldy, and its IT architecture was incapable of handling the increasing amounts of SKU/store data that accompanied its rapid growth of stores and the increased breadth of New Look's product range. In addition, it was running two distinct IT systems, one for its accessories business and another for its fashion lines. New Look turned to Oracle (previously Retek) retail merchandise operations management and supply chain solutions to enable continued profitable expansion and improved financial and operating performance. New Look opted for a phased implementation of Oracle Retail Warehouse Management System and Oracle Retail Merchandising Systems.
