CA Message Manager: Natural Language Processing Vs. Keyword Searching

CA Message Manager provides the most accurate, complete, and consistent method available to identify and flag message content that could raise legal and compliance issues, through the use of Natural Language Processing (NLP). This capability is very different from traditional keyword searches, where scanning only detects specific words or word phrases. Because NLP understands context, CA Message Manager is more accurate than keyword processing systems, eliminating the false positives that are inherent in keyword systems. In addition, NLP technology enables CA Message Manager to automatically recognize new names when they appear in the paper-without ever having seen the name before. In contrast, a keyword based system requires new entries to be added manually before they can be recognized.
