This paper discusses about Intel's new Active Management Technology (Intel AMT) that can be significantly increase efficiency in managing a fleet of PCs. Packaged with the appropriate technology infrastructure, Intel AMT can also reduce security exposures and improve compliance with PC policies and standardization. As demonstrated in tests the authors observed, Intel AMT delivers enhanced functionality in the chip set never before available for PCs to provide remote management and support for the enterprise PC fleet.
