The Poste Italiane group offers integrated products and services in the areas of communication, logistics and finance for the whole of Italy. Poste Italiane's productivity is based on a flexible, high-performance IT infrastructure, which is able to support a very high volume of transactions. The company therefore needed to be able to monitor and control the quality of the various services delivered to the group's divisions. The core component of the HP proposal was the HP OpenView suite, which, as an Adaptive Management platform, enables Poste Italiane to use the heterogeneous infrastructure resources present within the company more efficiently, providing a management approach that improves the quality and speed of support, optimising the use of resources.
