SICREDI is a cooperative credit system formed by 130 credit cooperatives that operate about 900 attendance units throughout Brazil. The company wanted to build a common platform in about 900 attendance units, replacing several disparate systems and unify and standardize processes among 130 cooperatives, eliminating needless duplication and strengthening communication among them. They wanted to prevent critical system downtime and data loss, which happened too frequently on the previous database and build a platform for application development to facilitate the integration of cooperatives. SICREDI implemented Oracle Database with Real Application Clusters to guarantee central standardized administration, reducing management costs and increasing efficiency.
