Windows Vista provides an extensive set of new APIs that enable improved user experiences and enhanced security, and many of these APIs are exposed through native COM and Win32 programming models. This webcast offers some strategies and techniques for taking advantage of these native APIs from managed code and explains what is involved in making the Microsoft .NET application run on Windows Vista and take full advantage of technologies like Windows User Account Control (UAC), integrated desktop search, and Windows Vista UI features such as command links and common file dialogs.
