Founded more than three decades ago, Thai Stainless Steel Co., Ltd. (TSS) is a household name in Southeast Asia, known for its kitchenware products marketed under the Seagull, Rocket, and Kangaroo brands. TSS's old decentralized information system had information scattered across the organization. No one had a single, integrated view of the company's daily business operations. Realizing that its legacy system, which was locally developed, could neither handle its growing database nor cope with looming business growth, TSS management evaluated numerous available offerings, including SAP, and chose Oracle for its scalability and comprehensive integrated solutions.
