Specialist healthcare consultancy Teamwork Management Services wanted to improve cash flow by invoicing hours worked and expenses incurred by consultants working on customer site more quickly and gain detailed, up-to-date information on cost and duration of projects to assist budgeting and bidding for future assignments. The company wanted to increase knowledge sharing between all staff to enhance business management, reporting, and decision making. Teamwork replaced Microsoft Access-based timesheet and expenses recording system for their 30 consultants with Web-enabled solution built on Oracle Application Express, available free to Oracle Database 10g customers. The company benefited from metadata-driven, wizard-based development environment to create and implement the solution in 20 days.
