Niagara Health System (NHS), comprised of eight hospitals serving 411,000 residents across the Niagara region, represents the largest multisite hospital amalgamation in Ontario, Canada. To reduce its IT complexity, NHS wanted a more cost-effective way to streamline its various voice mail, wireless, e-mail, and fax messaging capabilities to improve staff collaboration. With technical assistance from Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, CMS Consulting., NHS implemented a new server solution based on Microsoft Exchange Server 2007. Now, NHS has a unified communication system that gives employees access to their e-mail and voice mail from almost anywhere, while increasing efficiency and security, and boosting productivity and system performance.
