With 2,800 employees throughout Europe, Osiatis is a consulting firm that helps companies streamline their IT operations. Traveling frequently, employees of Osiatis wanted to have access to their files, e-mail, and voice-mail messages, regardless of location. To give employees the access they needed, the company upgraded its existing messaging solution to Microsoft Exchange Server 2007. Now when employees are away from the office, they can send and receive messages in real time, schedule meetings, and access shared files using portable computers, public Web browsers, or smartphones. And Osiatis uses the new Unified Messaging features of Exchange Server 2007 to route customers' calls to the appropriate technical support group.
