In an Osterman Research survey conducted for BorderWare Technologies, spam was identified as the most serious problem facing messaging managers today. In addition to spam, messaging storage growth, large attachments and viruses/worms and related threats were also identified as critical problems currently facing enterprise IT administrators. This paper describes these problems and suggests what enterprises need to do.
