Burlington Coat Factory Warehouse Corporation is a national department store retail chain, offering current, high quality designer merchandise at discounted prices. Burlington Coat Factory wanted to manage identities of all employee desktop users, users of server-based applications, and intranet portal users. The company wanted to strengthen IT security while decreasing employee dependence on IT help desk support. Burlington Coat Factory used Oracle Identity Management to create a centralized user repository, providing a single, more efficient, and more manageable source of enterprise-wide identity. The company provided capability to drive costs out of IT operations by seamlessly integrating with existing Oracle applications and Linux-based Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) infrastructure.
