HiTech Telecom is a privately held Australian organization that offers a wide range of voice telephony products and services to 179 carriers globally. As its business grew, HiTech Telecom found that its billing applications continually failed to scale to meet its requirements and also imposed unwelcome complexity. This led the company to seek a scalable, integrated software solution to improve the service it offers carriers and streamline its back-office processes. After an evaluation process that saw it consider SAP and Microsoft, HiTech Telecom settled on Oracle.
