In this paper, the author will step through the process of creating the three key programs needed in OverloadCheck's reporting package, as well as some important utilities and functions called by these programs. In the process, the author will showcase techniques the reader is likely to find helpful in many situations, such as use of the dynamic WHERE clause to streamline code and encapsulation of necessary-but-unwieldy procedures (in this case, DBMS_UTILITY.NAME_RESOLVE and DBMS_OUTPUT.PUT_LINE) to make them much friendlier and more useful.
