Allstream, one of Canada's leading communication solutions companies, develops software solutions for customers in several industries. These solutions, based on Microsoft software, help customers meet and collaborate online through Web conferencing and other technologies. The company realized it needed new internal collaboration tools to improve communication and help reduce its heavy travel schedule and expenses. Allstream customers also wanted more video capabilities. To meet these demands, Allstream partnered with RADVISION - a Microsoft partner that creates integrated voice, video, and data applications - to deploy a solution that adds multiparty video and audio capabilities to the Microsoft unified communications environment. As a result, Allstream improved internal communication and reduced travel time and costs, while delivering better collaboration tools to its customers.
