Wonderware, a business unit of Invensys, offers Production and Performance Management software solutions that power intelligent plant decisions in real time. The Wonderware global sales channel relies on the Team Wonderware extranet site to share information that promotes sales. However, this site (and three others) ran on an aging, expensive Domino platform that provided poor content management functionality. Wonderware migrated all its Web applications from IBM Lotus Domino server software to a connected productivity solution that includes Microsoft Content Management Server 2002 and Microsoft Office SharePoint Portal Server 2003 - increasing IT productivity by an estimated 50 percent and providing more Web features at less cost. Improved workflow ensures up-to-date content, resulting in a better-equipped sales channel.
