In South Limburg, the Netherlands, VZR centres provide nursing, health care and rehabilitation services for the elderly, delivering care in the broadest sense of the word. VZR sought a solution to enable centralized network management. In addition, the company wanted to provide a flexible architecture so the staff would be able to access data from every workplace and at all times. VZR decided to implement Citrix MetaFrame Presentation Server with the help of Openline, a Gold-level Citrix Solution Advisor. As a result, 1,000 staff at 20 locations access applications and information from central servers via the network.
