The objective of this webcast is to introduce Visual Studio developers to the basics of using ADO in Microsoft Visual Studio 6.0 and ASP applications to access SQL Server data as XML by executing SQLML queries. The listener will learn about the underlying architecture of using ADO to execute SQLXML queries. Code walkthroughs will be presented to illustrate how to execute different types of SQLXML queries (FOR XML AUTO, Templates, Updategrams, XPath queries against annotated mapping schemas, and applying an XSLT transformation to the result generated when one executes a SQLXML query) using ADO. The code samples presented will be written using Visual Basic 6.0.
