The purpose of this paper is to show how the HP Adaptive Infrastructure is able to help enterprises achieve their HA and DT objectives in multi-operating system environments with HP Integrity servers. HP has years of experience collaborating with its customers and partners in delivering IT infrastructures that meet a wide range of business continuity requirements. The paper presents reference architectures for a variety of scenarios that most enterprises encounter. The configurations are based on the four operating systems that are fully supported on HP Integrity servers (HP-UX 11i, HP OpenVMS, Linux, and Microsoft Windows Server 2003), as well as the new HP Integrity NonStop server environment.
