Fornari is a leading Italian fashion designer with an international reputation for creative excellence. Communication between its sales outlets, factories, sales force, and designers is critical to ensure continued success. But its existing IT messaging solution based on an open source system and supplied by an outsourcing company, lacked collaboration tools and resource sharing features. The company decided to bring the messaging infrastructure back in-house and following a detailed evaluation of all available products chose Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 as the foundation for a new solution.
