The Saxe & Associates accounting firm built its business on recognizing that small business clients have many of the same accounting needs as other businesses, but on a smaller scale, with less complexity, and at a lower cost. To help its clients better meet those needs, the firm tested Microsoft Office Small Business Accounting 2006 and Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 with Business Contact Manager Update in its own firm. The company found the ease of use and flexibility an ideal match for its small business clients. By deploying Small Business Accounting 2006, the company cut its data entry time in half, improved client management, and expects to increase revenue by up to 10 percent through recouping missed billable time.
