Neulogic, which provides Web design, hosting, and content management services for nonprofit organizations across the United States, is using Web-based virtual meetings to slash the cost of marketing and delivering products and services by up to 80 percent - while retaining profit margins. The virtual meetings are conducted using the Microsoft Office Live Meeting Web conferencing service to replace expensive and time-consuming business travel for the 17-person company. Live Meeting also has helped the company increase weekly customer contacts for its salespeople by 500 percent. The company has become so adept at using Live Meeting that 75 percent of its projects - from initial sales contact through negotiations, product design, deployment, and training - are completed without ever physically visiting the customer.
