The Navy was relying on a manually intensive spreadsheet to manage its $3B Flying Hour Program. The Navy needed to combine several legacy systems into one data warehouse to support its reporting requirements and to be able to analyze its business practices. They wanted t utilize the industry standard Business Process Reengineering and Software Design and Analysis to identify complex business rules in order to combine seven data legacy source systems into one data warehouse. CACI designed a project which was divided into three major phases. The ACES development effort transformed a poorly executed legacy system to an Oracle client-server database resident in a wide area of networks.
