SI International designs, builds, deploys, and operates IT network solutions, including software development and mission-critical outsourcing. The company has 28 locations in the United States and 80 customer sites. SI International needed a Web conferencing solution that would connect these disparate locations and provide them with real-time collaboration and remote meetings. The company had been using another solution provider but had only 20 users because of cost-prohibitive licensing. In addition, customers and remote employees could not access it from behind government firewalls. SI International decided to deploy Microsoft Office Live Meeting because it is significantly less expensive and can be accessed from behind the firewalls.
