This paper provides guidelines on how to install and configure HP OpenView Storage Data Protector for backup/restore in HP ServiceGuard cluster of Linux systems. The versions of HP OpenView Storage Data Protector addressed in this paper are A.05.10 and A.05.50. The main objective of the paper is to provide an overview of the procedure for performing backup and restore operations using the HP OpenView Storage Data Protector in HP ServiceGuard cluster of Linux systems. It also describes the concepts involved in carrying out backup and restore operations in the cluster using HP OpenView Storage Data Protector.
