Founded in July 1999, Sichuan Mobile Communications is one of the 21 wholly-owned subsidiaries of China Mobile, with a total of more than 8 million GSM subscribers in the province. In order to remain competitive and to provide the best customer service, the company needed to expand its contact centre to handle increased customer traffic and implement an outbound customer contact solution that would enable it to be more proactive in its approach. The company implemented an Avaya Contact Centre solution including Avaya Communication Manager running on an Avaya S8700 Media Server, as well as utilizing NICE Call Recording for its 500-seat contact centre.
