Topio, a provider of enterprise software for data replication and recovery, provides brick manufacturer Hanson Brick & Tile, a part of heavy building materials company Hanson PLC, Topio Data Protection Suite (TDPS) as its long-distance disaster recovery solution. According to the company, TDPS enables Hanson Brick & Tile to continuously replicate data from both UNIX and Windows systems in Morrisville, North Carolina, US, to their recovery centre in Irving, Texas. At the Hanson recovery site TDPS maintains the current, recovery-ready image of Hanson's ERP data, ensuring quick application recovery.
