When the Inland Revenue embarked on the largest ever government outsourcing contract, it had to ensure that the bidders were put through their business and technology paces like never before. To enable it to do this in a 'Live' environment, the Inland Revenue turned to Computacenter and its innovative testing facility, the Solutions Centre. By using the Solutions Centre, the Inland Revenue was able to create an environment that gave bidders the chance to demonstrate their skills, and offered considerable insight into their capabilities and the culture of their respective organisations rather than relying purely on a paper-based beauty parade.
