As part of its secure managed hosting services for federal and commercial clients, such as the US Department of State, Computer Technologies Consultants (CTC) monitors and manages customer equipment in its data center for 24/7 availability of applications and web sites. The Data Center Manager at CTC needed a better monitoring and management solution to improve service level management, operations and customer support. The Data Center Manager learned about the EM7 IT Management System by ScienceLogic. EM7 provides CTC with the level of visibility and control of their infrastructure that they need as well as the tools and automation to proactively manage data center operations instead of reacting to customer reports of service interruptions.
