TV production and satellite up-link facilities for Satellite News Gathering (SNG) are installed on a specific occasion, such as a major sports events or cultural highlights, and for political or other incidents. A service provider sets up and maintains SNG facilities often for many days. However, the capacity might be used only scarcely for minutes or for a few hours.
