GE Consumer Finance, a unit of General Electric Company, is a leading provider of credit services to consumers, retailers and auto dealers in 35 countries around the world. GE Consumer Finance Australia (GECFA) has contact centers in Burnley, Paramatta, Brisbane, Auckland and India. Following GE's acquisition of AGC, it was determined that substantial efficiencies could be achieved in the area of workforce management. The legacy system, one of the top three workforce management systems on the market, was deemed incapable of meeting GECFA's requirements. This resulted in GE doing a thorough evaluation of a number of workforce management solutions before choosing the IEX TotalView Workforce Management system.
