IKEA has been providing affordable home furnishings in Singapore for 25 years. With staff strength of more than 380, IKEA Singapore requires computer terminals for office use, supply chain management, inventory and order processing. Managing software licenses can be a challenge for any organization. At the end of 2002, IKEA Singapore recognized this and contacted Microsoft to ensure it had the right level of software licensing and to find out how it could best manage this going forward. Because of Microsoft's License Purchase Analysis (LPA) conducted in conjunction with Deloitte & Touche, IKEA Singapore painlessly got its software-licensing in order.
