Wellington City Council approached ACE Training in December 2001 and asked ACE Training to develop a short session to train Council staff on the key functional differences between Windows 95 or NT4 and Office 98 - their old software - and Windows 2000 and Office XP. This training is done as a prerequisite for Council staff to receive a new PC, so a high level of coordination is required between ACE and Council PC Deployment Project staff. In February ACE's Wellington training centre embarked on an ambitious project to train 700 council staff.
