Jackson has always been interested in computers. After using word-processing applications for almost 20 years, she was determined not only to understand how computers work but also to learn how to make them work for her. When she learned about Office Specialist certification for the Microsoft Office system of business productivity programs, she saw a perfect opportunity to validate her computing skills. Jackson is currently an Office Specialist Master Instructor with certifications in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access. With her certification success, Jackson left an eight-year career at Smith Anderson and started her own training business.
