McAfee is one of the largest IT security firms in the world, with security solutions ranging from PC Virus Checkers to Network Security Solutions for the world's biggest corporations. While there is no corporate standard for technology, the Foundstone division of McAfee in Southern California, focuses on vulnerability management for networks using PHP. A Senior PHP Developer at Foundstone/McAfee, and his group rely on the flexibility and stability offered by PHP. When recruiting PHP programmers for his own team, the Senior PHP Developer found technical skills to often be lacking. Verification of a developer's knowledge of PHP can easily be given with a simple title on his/her resume - that of the 'Zend Certified Engineer'.
