Kommunalkredit, established in 1958, is Austria's leading bank for public finance, specializing in infrastructure investment, trust fund administration, and treasury management. The public finance market is highly competitive, with powerful international players often leading the way. Kommunalkredit made the decision to implement SAP technology as early as 1996, and the first components - including SAP Corporate Finance Management - were up and running in early 1997.
