Pioneer Telephone Cooperaative wanted to retain and expand on its existing customer base by offering exciting new services. Pioneer is deploying a VOD solution consisting of Entone's suite of carrier-class video on demand and content ingest workflow solutions, HP server hardware, video headend equipment from Tut Systems, and middleware from Myrio. Currently involved in integration and testing, Pioneer is on track to deliver its VOD services across the eight Oklahoma regions it serves. Internal testing results have been positive and customer anticipation and enthusiasm for the new service are high.
