The Worldwide Global Electronics Company (WGEC) serves aerospace, defense, and information technology markets worldwide. WGEC was mandated by the Qatari Army to develop an important project of Compaq systems installation and implementation. In order to successfully achieve this mission, WGEC needed the Qatari Army's staff, some with no network knowledge, to be able to install, use, and support the UNIX and VMS Compaq systems. WGEC wanted to work with a company that had substantial experience in UNIX and VMS technology training. They asked Global Knowledge, which was already their trusted partner for IT training, to implement a new training program to meet their present needs.
