In Fall 2004, OgilvyOne teamed with Mobile 365 to offer the first-ever outdoor mobile marketing campaign in the U.S. to promote the Dove "Campaign for Real Beauty." Dove wanted to extend their traditional marketing mix to include an interactive mobile element, while encouraging consumers to think about what "real beauty" means to them. Mobile 365 provided two short codes (across all major U.S. carriers) to enable consumers to participate in the campaign by voting on individual graphics on mobile billboards being driven throughout New York City and Los Angeles.
