Hyundai wanted to deliver a personalized, convenient shopping experience to customers while at the same time reducing administrative costs, increasing employee effectiveness, and improving sales tracking. Most recently, Hyundai developed a mobile, WiFi Point-Of-Sale (POS) system powered by SQL Anywhere. The system is deployed on 2,400 PDAs, for use by 5,000 store employees.
