Microsoft SQL Server 2005 includes the latest version of the popular Reporting Services module. This document shows you how to limit users' rights, create connections to databases, and produce simple reports.
No matter how well you design a database to accept data input, it really isn't worth much unless you can pull useful information out of it. To help make information out of raw data, Microsoft's SQL Server 2005 employs a module know as Reporting Services. This brief downloadable tutorial goes over some of the basic features of Reporting Services. It will show you how limit users' rights, create connections to databases, and produce simple reports.
