Mobile TV faces many challenges but Satama thinks that with the right user experience and the right business models, it has a high chance of becoming successful. Video and TV consumption is changing because of new devices such as smartphones, the PSP and the iPod. In one form or another video will be available through these devices. Satama believes that video/TV consumption via mobile devices will increase. However, discussions around business models and technology driven development of Mobile TV may negatively impact the development of Mobile TV. Interactivity and an integrated user experience seem to be low on the agenda of developers which is a concern from Satama's perspective.
